Day 15 – Sydney Day 3 – Rainy day, so indoors at a museum

We spent most of the day at the “PowerHouse{/Museum of Applied Arts and Sciences”. Very cool museum – all kinds of somewhat random exhibits – see brochure for notes. The main traveling exhibit was mummies from the British Museum- which we had already seen at the British Museum, so we declined. They space craft, trains, medical equipment, historical Sydney display, exhibit of history of design of technology and fashion design.

After the museum, we finally, finally ate at Pie Face (the chain where Ryan in Cairns). We split two pies, Steak and Mushroom and a Butter chicken pie. We also had a maxi-sausage roll and a double chip cookie – delicious!

On the way back to where the car was parked, we arranged for an Uber. Ryan, Holly and Heather were seated in the car and I had one foot and a little more in the car when the light turned green. Lots of yelling and the car stopped and I finished getting in and we were off.

We had enough leftovers for dinner, so we had a quiet evening and cleaned out the refrigerator.
