Day 13- Sydney Day 1 – continued…

The good news from Tiger Air was that they sent our bags out quickly (balanced the delay waiting for bags from Emirates in Melbourne). We headed out to the parking deck to get our rental car and headed for the AirBnB. The car was a small Nissan SUV – and it had a smaller truck in the Camry, so Holly and Heather shared the back seat with two suitcases.

The AirBnB was very nice – beautiful view from the balcony of an inlet filled with boats. Kitchen and dining/living room downstairs and two bedrooms and one bath upstairs. We’re going to get lots of exercise – two flights up to the apartment and the internal stairs to the bathrooms. Too bad there is no cat – we miss Trumpet!

We spent the rest of the afternoon at the Barrett’s Point Park – pretty views of downtown Sydney.

On the way back to the house, we stopped for dinner at Ribs and Burgers (http://ribsandburgers.com/au/the-menu/food/) – delicious food. Weather was gorgeous and we sat at a table on the sidewalk. Wow!

On the way back, we made our traditional stop at Coles Supermarket for cheese, milk, yogurt, granola, etc so we’re stocked for breakfast. I also bought a package of steamy puds – they look good.

Got back to the AirBnB early enough to do laundry and just relax.
