After the museum closed, it was time to find a place to eat dinner. The supermarket cashier recommended Vietnamese restaurants so off to the ‘Yelp’ app on our phones. We had the choice of at 20 restaurants downtown, but most were ‘small plates’ (think Tapas) and we were pretty hungry.
We passed a ‘Pie Face’ shop like the one Ryan worked in Cairns. Ryan pointed out most of the stuff that wasn’t good, but we split a double chocolate chip cookie and chatted with the poor guy who had to listen to us.
We finally decided on where to eat and started following the directions on our cell phone but we kept passing really delicious looking places to eat and finally succumbed to the Shanghai Dragon Dumpling House. Really good food and as usual ordered more than we could eat – curry pork buns, fried park buns, wontons in chicken noodle soup, ma pa tofu and scallion toast. And we have leftovers for breakfasts!

After we got back to the house it was time for laundry. The washer in the house just recently broken so Ryan and I took the five bags of dirty clothes to the laundromat- brought back memories of undergraduate life.
